Actor John Phillip Law passed away last Tuesday at the age of 70.
In honor of his memory, let us pay homage to his unparalleled cinematic legacy, specifically the trio of 1968 films that cemented his place of high esteem within my personal retrological pantheon...
Ennio Morricone - Deep Down (from the Danger: Diabolik OST, 1968)

Bob Crewe and Charles Fox - The Angel Is Love (from the Barbarella OST, 1968)

Harry Nilsson - I Will Take You There (from the Skidoo OST, 1968)
Farewell, Mr. Law, and thank you. May a flight of blind space angels sing thee to thy rest.

How dare you insult my knowledge of ancient dentistry!
(Nice blog, by the way... I've been reading for awhile now, but don't remember if I've said anything before, so wanted to let you know: I'm a fan.)
Hmm...
I watched "Danger: Diabolik" just a couple of weeks ago (MST3K version), and really dug it. Now you tell me he was in "Space Mutiny," too?
R.I.P. John Phillip Law.
<-- off digging through that old box of MST3K tapes.
Oh brother you are forgetting John Phillip Law's greatest role - as Sinbad in the Golden Voyage of Sinbad my personal all time favorite childhood movie....in fact it was on the satellite today and reading your blog informed me for the first time that he had died..."Trust is Allah...but tie up your camel."...Love your stuff man and the way you look out for the kitties...cause we all know when the mummies attack they are the first line of defence...I may not be bitter but I am not amused either...Kal
